In "Under the Influence: Japan as Inspiration," Nancy Yoshii explores the subtle and enduring ways Japanese culture, aesthetics, and philosophy have shaped her creative process. The exhibition features an eclectic mix of collage, paper quilts, paper jewelry, and found-object sculpture, much of it made from recycled or repurposed materials. Her work celebrates transformation—the alchemy of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
